Job summary

Granite Group is seeking an experienced Implementation Lead with strong Primavera P6 expertise to lead the rollout of P6 across a portfolio of complex projects in Melbourne. You will work alongside an established scheduling team to configure P6, uplift schedules and establish consistent scheduling practices focused on resource loading and allocation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Primavera P6 experience.
• Experience implementing and configuring P6, not just schedule maintenance.
• Strong resource loading and allocation understanding.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or engineering environments.
• Ability to train and mentor schedulers within live projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure Primavera P6 including EPS, OBS, WBS and activity coding.
• Establish and roll out resource-loaded schedules across live projects.
• Migrate existing schedules into P6 and uplift schedules.
• Develop scheduling standards, coding conventions and governance.
• Provide hands-on training and mentoring to the in-house scheduling team.
• Establish file exchange processes with head contractors.

About You:

• 5+ years' hands-on Primavera P6 experience
• Demonstrated experience with P6 implementation and configuration, not simply schedule maintenance
• Strong understanding of resource loading and resource allocation
• Experience working across construction, infrastructure or engineering environments
• The ability to work directly with scheduling teams and embed new processes and ways of working
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to train and mentor existing schedulers
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to operate effectively within a live project environment
