Implementation & Delivery Manager - Part-Time

2-3 days per week | Hybrid working | Melbourne CBD

Our client is an established Australian SAAS company providing specialised accounting, property management and workflow solutions to major organisations across Australia.

They are seeking an experienced Implementation & Delivery Manager to guide new clients through onboarding, system implementation, training, go-live and handover.

This is a hands-on, client-facing position requiring strong implementation, project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their processes, translate their requirements into an effective system setup and ensure users are confident using the platform.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage client implementations from onboarding through to go-live and handover
• Develop implementation plans, timelines, milestones and responsibilities
• Facilitate requirements and process-mapping workshops
• Understand clients’ accounting, property and lease management processes
• Translate client requirements into practical system configurations and workflows
• Guide clients through data preparation, migration and validation
• Coordinate implementation activities across clients and internal technical teams
• Manage user acceptance testing and help resolve implementation issues
• Deliver system demonstrations, training sessions and process walkthroughs
• Teach users how to apply the platform effectively within their day-to-day operations
• Maintain regular communication and provide clear implementation updates
• Identify and manage delivery risks, issues and dependencies
• Support clients through go-live and the initial post-launch period
• Complete a structured handover into ongoing support
• Improve implementation processes, documentation and training materials

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering B2B SaaS or enterprise software implementations
• Experience managing implementations from onboarding through to go-live
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence facilitating workshops, demonstrations and user training
• The ability to understand business processes and translate them into practical system solutions
• Experience coordinating data migration, configuration, testing or user acceptance activitiesStrong project planning, organisation and documentation skills
• The ability to explain software clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge
• A proactive, structured and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a small internal team

Highly regarded

• Experience implementing accounting, finance, ERP, property or lease management software
• An accounting, finance, property, leasing or business systems background
• Experience delivering software within regulated, compliance-focused or audit-sensitive environments
• Understanding of commercial leases, including rent reviews, outgoings, options and lease obligations
• Knowledge of lease accounting requirements, including IFRS 16 or AASB 16
• Experience working with finance, property, facilities or lease administration teams
• Familiarity with financial reporting, reconciliations, journals or accounting system integrations
