NSW Department of Education is seeking a School Counsellor based at Bega High School to provide counselling and psychological assessment for students, complementing teaching staff to improve wellbeing and learning outcomes. You will work across primary and high school ages, with supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
• Experience in psychological assessment, including case formulation and report writing.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for diverse students.
• Must be a registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Ability and willingness to travel between worksites; valid unrestricted driver’s license.
