Ben Venue Public School in Regional NSW is seeking a School Counsellor to provide counselling and psychological assessment to support students’ learning and wellbeing. The role involves collaborating with teachers, families and external agencies in a multidisciplinary team.

You will join the NSW Department of Education’s School Counselling Service with supervision, professional development, and access to leave loading, generous career benefits, and a pathway to registration with the Psychology

Qualificações

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions with a demonstrated understanding of the mental health needs of children and young people.
• Experience in the psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provide counselling and psychological assessment to students to support learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external agencies in a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in continuing professional development and supervision through the School Counselling Service.
