Job summary

The Salvation Army Seven Hills in NSW is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and create an inviting in-store experience for customers and community members.

Reporting to the Area Manager, this casual role is based in Seven Hills and offers opportunities to develop retail, merchandising and customer service skills while upholding TSA values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills are expected.
• Ability to deliver outstanding results aligned with TSA values.
• Willingness to work across locations in the retail area and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices.
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide exceptional Customer Service.
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures.
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities.
