Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day store operations in Seven Hills, NSW. You will handle POS, price donations, and merchandising while delivering friendly customer service in a busy retail environment.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll join a values-driven team committed to integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and across multiple locations in the retail area.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Willing to work across locations and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices.
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
• Assist in development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Display stock in correct departments and follow policy.
