Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day store operations in Seven Hills, NSW. You will engage customers, process sales at the POS, and help prepare donations for sale while upholding our values and safety standards.

The role requires a high-energy, customer-focused individual with flexibility to work weekends and across locations in the retail area. Prior retail experience is welcomed, and training is provided to support growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Aligned with TSA values of integrity, respect, compassion and collaboration.
• High energy, hands-on with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
• Assist in development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Display stock in correct departments following policy and procedure
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities
