Job summary

Chisholm Institute is seeking an experienced Placement Assessor for the Ageing & Disability allied health area. The role combines teaching with on-placement assessment, ensuring academic and professional standards are met.

You will develop resources, manage attendance and results in Strata, and participate in information sessions and community events. Collaboration with employers and education providers will support high-quality placement opportunities aligned with program demand.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent standards meet the RTO 2015 requirements.
• AQF level 3 qualifications in Aged Care and/or Disability Support; higher qualifications are advantageous.
• Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline.
• Documented Vocational Competency mapped to units of competency.
• Evidence of Professional Currency and current industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Teach and actively assess student placements on work placement.
• Develop resources and administer education processes to support learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate attendance and mark records in Strata, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan and run Open Nights, information sessions, and student selection events.
• Liaise with employers and education providers to sustain placement host partnerships.
