Job summary

Mars is seeking an HR Business Partner for our Ballarat chocolate factory. You will partner with the Factory Management Team to craft and drive the people strategy, translating business needs into tangible results.

In this role you will focus on organisational effectiveness, talent development and Associate engagement, leading initiatives to ensure a safe, productive and great place to work that supports production and business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and influence outcomes.
• Experience working within a unionised environment.
• Tertiary qualification in HR or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with factory leadership to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Coach Line Managers to lead high-performing, engaged teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Develop strategies and support negotiations in a unionised environment.
• Lead the site's talent agenda including succession planning and capability building.
• Utilise people analytics and operational data to generate insights and inform decisions.
• Advocate for Associates and foster an inclusive culture.
