Qualifications

• Tertiary accounting/commerce degree with CPA/CA progression.
• At least five years’ financial accounting experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Experience accounting for capital expenditure, project WIP, and leases under AASB 16.
• Statutory financial statements preparation and schedules.
• ERP systems knowledge (Dynamics 365 BC) and advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Maintain fixed asset register including WIP, capitalisations, additions, transfers and disposals.
• Calculate monthly depreciation and reconcile to GL.
• Review lease agreements and maintain registers for AASB 16.
• Act as key user for AASB 16 and fixed asset modules in Dynamics 365 BC.
• Prepare month-end timetables and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; assist external audit.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely financial reporting.
