Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Senior Finance and Procurement Analyst to guide budgets, reporting and purchasing. You will work with managers to turn financial data into sound decisions and manage public funds in line with government rules.

The role offers a fixed-term, full-time contract for 18 months in a small, purpose-driven team, with opportunities to build experience across finance, reporting and contracts and to contribute to sound

Competenze

• tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business, commerce or related field.
• financial management experience including budgets, forecasts and year-end reports.
• knowledge of financial systems (Oracle/Axiom) and reporting tools (Excel/Power BI).
• procurement and contract management experience with government rules.

Mansioni

• prepare budgets, track spending and provide clear advice on forecasts and financial risks
• manage financial transactions, check payroll costs and keep accurate records
• guide purchasing and tender processes, track contracts and help managers achieve value for money
• prepare financial reports, business case costings and funding submissions to support sound decisions
• maintain financial systems, improve procedures and provide timely records for audits.
