Job summary

CatholicCare Central Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation delivering a broad range of social services across the Catholic Diocese of Rockhampton. The Family Support Team Leader will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee service delivery, and ensure compliance with funding and professional standards.

With a focus on children, young people and families in vulnerability, this role carries day-to-day leadership, supervision, and opportunities for development within a CatholicService

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or related discipline.
• Current C class driver's license (QLD).
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline; and/or
• Approved supervisor status (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership of Family Support programs, including coordination of staff, workloads and service coverage across tertiary family intervention, secondary family support, child inclusive practice and family education services.
• Provide line management, supervision oversight and practice support to Family Support practitioners.
• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with funding agreements, legislation and service guidelines.
• Monitor service demand, caseloads and performance to support access, safety and quality outcomes.
• Oversee documentation, quality assurance and risk management within Family Support programs.
• Support service integration, referral pathways and stakeholder engagement across the Family Services Stream; and
• Contributing to service development, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
