MTC FutureReady in Redcliffe is seeking an Employment Consultant – Workforce Australia (WFA) to join our Employment Services team on a full-time basis. You will support job seekers through tailored coaching, case management and effective job matching to secure sustainable employment.

You will work with government and community partners to build pathways to work, manage a caseload, and help participants address barriers and plan for long-term employment success in Queensland.

Qualifications

• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to forge effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and mentoring/ coaching ability.
• Strong listening skills and ability to handle challenging customer behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of jobseekers to secure suitable, sustainable employment.
• Coach, mentor and connect participants to non-vocational and vocational support.
• Partner with participants to create tailored plans aligned to their goals.
• Collaborate with external partnerships to develop co-case management strategies.
• Support participants to find work by sourcing vacancies and brokering introductions.
• Build rapport and manage expectations while tracking progress.
