Job summary

Family Services Australia is seeking an Employment Coach to empower job seekers in Fernvale & Toogoolawah. You will provide job search support, resume assistance, interview coaching and workplace readiness to clients facing barriers to employment.

You’ll assess needs, create tailored pathways, and work toward individual targets and KPI's while maintaining case records and collaborating with community partners to secure sustainable employment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of trauma-informed practice in employment services.
• Experience in Employment Services.
• Knowledge of job market trends and workplace expectations.
• Ability to identify barriers to employment and develop solutions with a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess individual’s needs and create tailored pathways to employment.
• Performance focused and work to individual targets and KPI’s.
• Participant support and coaching.
• Job search, resume and cover letter support.
• Interview coaching.
• Identify and coordinate referrals to internal and external supports.
• Case management and documentation.
• Continuous improvement and professional development.
• Maintaining strong relationships with customers and employers / community partners.
