Job summary

Better Tomorrow Support Services in Jimboomba, QLD is seeking Casual Support Workers to assist individuals with disabilities, including those with high and complex behavioural needs. You will provide personal care, accompany to appointments, and help participants develop skills and independence, while maintaining documentation and adhering to policies.

We value your communication, empathy, and ability to work flexibly across day, afternoon, and active night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting people with disabilities with high and complex behavioural needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients.
• Current Australian driver's licence and valid First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assisting participant in Beaudesert with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks and health care needs
• Accompanying participant to appointments, community activities, and social events
• Providing behaviour support and encouraging participants to develop their skills and independence
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care
• Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
