Job summary

Knoxbrooke is hiring Disability Support Workers to help participants with disability live life to the fullest. You will deliver tailored activities, support personal care where possible, and work both in teams and 1:1 with clients to achieve developmental goals.

Ideal candidates will have Level 2 First Aid/CPR, strong communication, and a compassionate, patient approach. A Victorian driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are preferred for transport duties.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in disability, Mental Health or related field (Highly Regarded).
• Experience in disability and Mental Health is highly regarded.
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs and support requirements of participants with disability.
• Provide tailored, high-quality group and/or 1:1 activity options.
• Transport clients to community activities and maintain accurate records.
• Follow care and behaviour support plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Work in a team or 1:1 with clients and maintain confidentiality.
