Job summary

Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights that support rural health improvements. You will work across trainee data, surveys, and membership datasets using SQL, R, Python, and Power BI to inform strategic decisions.

You will communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, develop dashboards, and help shape data strategy with a focus on governance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 2+ years in data-driven roles.
• Strong SQL and data extraction/manipulation skills.
• Proficiency in R; Python experience encouraged.
• Ability to translate analyses into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: analyse large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Reporting & Dashboard Development: build/maintain dashboards using Power BI and Quarto/R Markdown.
• Data Request Fulfilment: respond to internal/external data requests with timely insights.
• Collaboration & Solutions: work with cross-functional teams to meet data needs.
• Visualization & Communication: present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
