Footprints Community Ltd in Fortitude Valley, Queensland, invites applications for a Compliance and Assurance Coordinator to support our audit and assurance framework. You will oversee internal and external audits, manage evidence for accreditation, and monitor regulatory requirements across HSQS, aged care, mental health, privacy and safety.

We seek a detail‑oriented, proactive professional with strong analytical ability, sound judgement, and the capacity to work across teams to help leaders

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or supporting internal and external audits, including planning, evidence collection, reporting, analysis and stakeholder advisory support.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements in community services (HSQS, Aged Care, Mental Health, privacy, safety).
• Experience monitoring regulatory and legislative changes, assessing organisational impact and maintaining compliance registers.
• Experience supporting assurance frameworks, audit programs, accreditation processes or governance activities.
• Proven ability to identify compliance risks, support corrective actions and monitor implementation and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborative approach to teamwork with capacity to support and guide others in understanding compliance requirements.
• Ability to prepare clear briefing notes, compliance summaries and audit reports for leadership audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management systems (IonMy or similar).
• Previous not-for-profit or community services exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external audits, including planning, evidence collection and reporting.
• Maintain compliance registers and monitor regulatory changes across HSQS, aged care, mental health, privacy and safety.
• Support accreditation processes, governance activities and assurance programs.
• Provide compliance advice to leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks and support remediation actions to ensure timely mitigation.
