Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact on learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas or programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organizational duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
