Job summary

Discover and Learn Academy in Tanilba Bay NSW is seeking a Certificate III Educator to join our team, delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate programmes that support children's learning, growth and wellbeing. This role can be fulfilled on a full-time or part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• First Aid certification current or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Children Check (NSW) clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and implement activities supporting cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
• Provide direct care and supervision ensuring safety, health and wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to maintain an inclusive learning environment.
• Document observations and progress of each child.
• Support personal care routines including hygiene, nutrition and rest.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised learning space.
• Adhere to child safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in professional development to keep up with best practices.
