Job summary

Singleton Council is seeking a Childcare Educator - Certificate III to deliver high-quality long day care. You will plan and evaluate child-centered programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and support learning through play-based environments.

The role is permanent full-time (38 hours per week) with an accrued rostered day off every 4 weeks. A Diploma in Children’s Services (or working towards), WWCC, First Aid with anaphylaxis and asthma training, and knowledge of curriculum and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent, or working towards it.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• First Aid Certificate including anaphylaxis and asthma training is required.
• Experience caring for children aged 0-5 and knowledge of curriculum and legislative frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate child-centric programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Support children's learning through play-based environments and curriculum discussions.
• Model teaching strategies and adapt as necessary to the service's philosophy.
