Job summary

City of Playford is seeking an experienced Impact and Evaluation Lead to join our Children in the North team. This full-time fixed-term role focuses on turning data, evidence and community insight into actions that improve outcomes for children, young people and families across the North.

You will design frameworks, lead data analysis and influence decisions across government and community partners. You will work with diverse stakeholders to inform lived experience in evaluation, facilitate

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluation, impact measurement, applied research or outcomes-based evaluation in complex social settings.
• Strong understanding of collective impact, place-based approaches and systems change.
• Experience developing outcomes frameworks, measurement approaches and data strategies.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills with reporting ability.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical insights for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design and embed a shared outcomes and measurement framework aligned to community priorities.
• Lead data collection, analysis and interpretation to provide insights of impact.
• Develop evaluation approaches supporting innovation and continuous improvement.
• Engage community members and partners to inform evaluation and decisions.
• Facilitate learning sessions to turn evidence into action.
• Prepare governance- and funder-facing reports with clarity and impact.
• Build data literacy and outcomes-focused thinking across the alliance.
• Identify trends and barriers to influence policy and service improvements.
• Act as trusted advisor on impact measurement and systems change.
