The Kids Research Institute Australia in Perth is seeking a Research Assistant/Officer to apply immunotherapy in mouse models of sarcoma and perform in vitro and in vivo experiments focusing on efficacy, toxicity and immunogenicity.

Based at Perth Children's Hospital, Nedlands, the role is full-time for two years with occasional weekend work; opportunities to contribute to grant applications and publications.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in biological or related sciences required.
• Honours or Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with animal research, particularly mouse models.
• Knowledge of national and institutional animal ethics guidelines.
• Background in cancer immunology and molecular biology.
• Experience with in vitro cell culture and aseptic technique.

Aufgaben

• Assist with laboratory animal studies in mouse models of cancer, including tumour establishment and imaging.
• Maintain human and mouse cancer and immune cell cultures with aseptic technique.
• Plan, design, and undertake research projects.
• Assist with preparation of grant applications and articles.
