Job summary

Melbourne Health in Melbourne is seeking an Immigration Advisor to oversee end-to-end case management of working visa nominations with the Department of Home Affairs and to facilitate AHPRA registrations for overseas medical staff.

You will ensure sponsor compliance and provide guidance on legislative requirements, collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth international recruitment and onboarding.

Qualifications

• OMARA registration is required.
• Experience with DOHA processes in health sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of migration legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage AHPRA registrations from submission to approval.
• Coordinate employer-sponsored visa nominations and overseas recruitment.
• Own a portfolio of registration and sponsorship cases with timely outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and employment records.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
