Job summary

Workforce International is seeking experienced Traffic Controllers for Melbourne's inner city event work. You will manage traffic and pedestrians across various event sites, with immediate starts and ongoing opportunities during the event period.

A current T2 qualification, White Card, valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport are required. You will operate a Stop/Slow bat, monitor movements and communicate via radio to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current Traffic Controller T2 qualification.
• Previous traffic control experience.
• Current Construction Induction White Card.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Own reliable transport.
• Experience using a Stop/Slow bat.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• A reliable and professional approach to work.
• Availability for weekend and event-based shifts.

Responsibilities

• Traffic and pedestrian management.
• Operating a Stop/Slow bat.
• Assisting with the implementation of Traffic Management Plans.
• Monitoring traffic and pedestrian movements.
• Communicating with team members via two-way radio.
• Completing required paperwork.
• Reporting site hazards and incidents.
• Assisting with general site and event duties as required.
