Jack's Butterflies in Adelaide, SA is seeking a Support Worker to provide practical support and mentoring to an 11-year-old boy in a family home. An immediate start is available for someone who can relate to and engage through shared interests such as cars, motorbikes, and sport.

You'll assist with daily living, transport, appointments, and community activities, while maintaining documentation and teamwork. NDIs care, high-intensity tasks, and a compassionate, patient approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Skills include communication, professionalism, teamwork and motivation.
• Ability to assist with personal care, meal prep and daily tasks.
• Experience with subcutaneous injections and high-intensity support is beneficial.
• First Aid, CPR and driving license preferred.
• Mentoring and helping with activities of daily living are key.

Responsabilités

• Support clients with activities of daily living (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks).
• Support clients with high-intensity tasks (bowel care, complex behaviors, subcutaneous injections).
• Provide transportation and community access.
• Support clients to attend appointments and social activities.
• Encourage independence, inclusion, and choice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the team.
