Job summary

Imaging Associates is a progressive and premium provider of radiology services with clinics across Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga. We are expanding our patient-facing team at the Box Hill clinic and booking centre, while continuing to grow nearby clinics.

We are seeking a Medical Imaging Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients, handling bookings, inquiries and follow-ups to ensure a smooth patient journey and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Previous medical administration or contact centre experience (highly regarded).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
• Confidence with technology and ability to manage multiple systems while speaking with patients.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster between 8am–8pm, Mon–Thu, and 8am–6pm Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and answer patient inquiries in a calm, professional manner.
• Greet patients and maintain a smooth patient workflow.
• Manage patient bookings, rescheduling and cancellations.
• Provide information to patients and referrers regarding imaging services.
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the wider team.
• Support billing tasks including invoicing and receipting.
