Job summary

Mane Consulting's client, a globally recognisable gaming company, is seeking an Illustrator – Slot Gaming in Sydney to concept, storyboard and design characters, environments, logos and UIs across a portfolio of new slot titles. You will work closely with the wider Art and Game Design team to ensure the games visual elements align with technical, mathematical and engineering requirements.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Our client is a globally recognisable gaming company, developing cross-platform slots and casino gaming products for international markets. In line with their sustained success, the company are expanding their land-based game design studio with the addition of an Illustrator – Slot Gaming in Sydney.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Illustrator – Slot Gaming role is an exciting opportunity for a talented Illustrator to conceptualise and design characters, environments, logos, UIs and other artistic elements across a portfolio of new slot titles. You will work closely with the wider Art and Game Design team to ensure the games visual elements align with technical, mathematical and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, storyboard and illustrate a range of game features across a portfolio of land-based slot titles
• Work closely with the wider game design team to effectively incorporate studio and portfolio themes
• Utilise a range of digital art & illustration tools
• Manage all aspects of the illustration process & collaborate with Animators and Development teams

ABOUT YOU

The be successful in the Illustrator – Slot Gaming role you should have:

• Previous slot gaming or relevant industry experience in 2D / 3D illustration
• A portfolio of relevant, previous illustration work
• Experience with the Adobe suite including Photoshop and other digital illustration tools
• Previous professional experience in Animation and exposure to tools such as Blender & Maya advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the wider studio to bring new titles to market
