Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment represents a digital games studio in Australia seeking a talented 2D Graphic Artist to join the design team and lead visual assets for upcoming online games.

In this role you will craft visually stunning UI elements, concept art, and storyboards, while ensuring brand alignment and high production value. Strong drawing skills and knowledge of Unity 3D basics are desirable, and Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in casual game concept art and UI elements.
• Strong illustration, composition, perspective and color theory.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team and Art Director to create high-quality 2D art and UI assets.
• Develop concept art, storyboard visuals and game art production.
• Contribute to feature enhancement aligned with brand objectives.
• Push creative boundaries while considering technical feasibility and user experience.
• Communicate clearly and manage asset delivery timelines.

Job description

Our client is an established and innovative digital games studio that dominates the online gaming space in Australia. They are currently on a hunt for a talented and creative 2D Graphic Artistto join their dynamic design team and take on a major role in building the next generation of online games.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working alongside the design team and Art Director, you will be responsible for crafting visually stunning, creative and high-quality user interface designs usability.
• Responsible for providing vision and input in enhancing features, creativity and innovation to ensure that the designs meet the business objectives and reflect the company brand
• Creating Game assets concept art as well as Game design storyboards and concept art
• Responsible for final production 2D game art
• Pushing the boundaries of what's technically possible to ensure ongoing product improvement and enhance the overall customer experience

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in casual game concept art and UI design (icons, controls, visual elements)
• Advanced skills in Adobe CS Suite or better
• Creativity as well as advanced sketching ,drawing and conceptualisation skills with an ability to adapt to variety of styles
• Experience in web and mobile games
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Experience in unity 3D and 3D texturing skills are not essential but highly desirable
• Must possess fundamental illustration skills including composition, perspective and colour theory
• A strong work ethic and understanding of architecture ,surface texture and anatomy
• must have an appropriate Australian work visa
