Job summary

Frontline Human Resources is recruiting an IGU Machine Operator in Rowville, Australia. Immediate starts available with the opportunity to transition to full-time. You will operate the Lisec TPA line to manufacture insulated glass units, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high quality in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts include PM slots, Saturday availability, and overtime as required. Pay rate is $46 per hour, with training to begin on AM shift before moving to PM after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in IGU manufacturing or glass processing preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with confidence around automated machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and deadlines.
• Willingness to be cross trained across the production line.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Lisec TPA line in line with SOPs and safety requirements.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters for varying glass sizes and specifications.
• Monitor spacer application, alignment, adhesion, sealing, and gas fill quality.
• Conduct regular quality checks and identify defects.
• Handle glass and IGUs safely to prevent damage.
• Ensure correct curing times and A-frame loading limits are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Report faults, downtime, and quality issues accurately.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, maintenance, and team members

IGU Machine Operator

Our client is currently seeking reliable and motivated IGU Machine Operators to join their production team in Rowville. This role is critical to the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacture of insulated glass units (IGUs) using a Lisec TPA line.

Available Shifts

• PM Shift: PM 4pm - 12am shift
• PM Shift: PM 12pm - 8pm - will commnce on AM shift 4am - 12pm then move to PM once trained up
• Pay rate $ $46 per hour

Must be available to work Saturdays
