Job summary

Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide's north delivers high-acuity ICU care within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. We seek a Registered Nurse with ICU experience for an ongoing part-time role (32 hours per week).

You will provide evidence-based nursing in the ICU, monitor patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Eligibility requires Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience in an ICU or high-dependency setting.
• Knowledge of critical care principles, ventilation, and haemodynamic monitoring.
• Must align with SA Health values of care, excellence and integrity.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams and patients' families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in the ICU.
• Monitor patient condition, escalate changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan safe care.
• Support and educate junior staff and students.
