Job summary

Dubbo Base Hospital in Dubbo, NSW, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Intensive Care Unit on a five-week contract from 12 October 2026 to 18 November 2026. The role fosters high-acuity care within a multidisciplinary team in a busy ICU.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration, ALS certification, and ideally a postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing for advanced practice.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an intensive care unit setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and monitoring skills in high-acuity care.
• Ability to manage complex patient needs and respond to rapid changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Level 4 ICU for critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU team to monitor and respond to patient changes.
