Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years ICU experience (mandatory).
• Post graduate qualification in Critical Care–ICU (mandatory).
• Current AHPRA registration (mandatory).
• Understanding NSQHS Standards and Australian Health system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Adhere to AHPRA standards, code of ethics and Healthscope policies.
• Provide supervision and education to peers, graduates and students.
• Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care across the care continuum.
• Maintain professional relationships with VMO partners and external teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to team learning.
