Job summary

John Fawkner Private Hospital in Melbourne (Healthscope) is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our close-knit ICU team on a full-time or part-time basis with a rotating roster.

Requirements include 3–5 years ICU experience, a postgraduate qualification in Critical Care ICU, and current Australian work rights. Salary ranges from $39.34 to $50.50 per hour under the Healthscope Victoria Nurses’ Enterprise Agreement 2026.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years ICU experience (mandatory).
• Post-graduate qualification in Critical Care- ICU (mandatory).
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of NSQHS Standards.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Demonstrate professional practice aligned with AHPRA standards and Healthscope policies.
• Foster learning through clinical presentations and supervision to peers, graduates and students.
• Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain constructive relationships with VMO partners for optimal patient care.
