Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to deliver a major Network Security & Connectivity Program, modernising and strengthening our network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will lead from planning through implementation and handover, ensuring delivery to scope, budget and timeline while maintaining continuity of critical services.

This is a project-based role anticipated to run for up to 18 months, requiring governance, vendor coordination and rigorous change

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure, network security or connectivity projects.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-site technology deployments.
• Strong project management across governance, financials, risk and change control.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking and cybersecurity technologies (SD-WAN, firewalls, segmentation).
• Vendor, commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.
• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• Healthcare, aged care or regulated industry experience highly regarded.

We're seeking an experienced ICT Project Manager to deliver a major Network Security & Connectivity Program, modernising and strengthening our network infrastructure across multiple sites.

Working with technology partners, telecommunications providers, vendors and internal teams, you'll lead the project from planning and design through to implementation and operational handover, ensuring delivery to scope, budget and timeline while maintaining continuity of critical services.

This is a project-based role that is anticipated to run for up to 18 months with the duration dependent on project delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Bring:

• Working knowledge of enterprise networking and cybersecurity technologies, including SD-WAN, firewalls and network segmentation.
• Strong vendor, commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Healthcare, aged care or other highly regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.

What We Offer:

• 10+ years' experience delivering complex ICT infrastructure, network security or connectivity projects.
• Proven success leading large-scale network transformation, cybersecurity or connectivity programs across multiple sites.
• Strong experience managing vendors, systems integrators, telecommunications providers and cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking and cybersecurity technologies, including SD-WAN, firewalls and network segmentation.
• Strong project management capability across governance, financial management, risk, change control and executive reporting.
• Commercially astute with experience managing contracts, budgets and vendor performance.
• Confident engaging with senior leaders and Steering Committees, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to challenge and govern technical delivery while partnering effectively with architects and engineers.Calm, pragmatic and outcomes-focused, with experience delivering critical change in operationally sensitive environments.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, Project Management, Business or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification highly regarded.
• Experience within healthcare, aged care or another highly regulated industry will be highly regarded.
