Job summary

HOBAN Recruitment partners with a large Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced APS6 Project Officer to support the delivery of complex ICT and digital transformation initiatives in Canberra. The role requires strong organisation, coordination across business and technical teams, and effective governance support.

You will coordinate project activities, maintain plans and artefacts, manage risks and dependencies, and engage with stakeholders to keep projects on track against

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects within ICT or digital delivery environments.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience developing and maintaining project management artefacts and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving capability.
• Experience in Federal Government or Agile project environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support ICT project activities across a complex program environment.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, risk and issue registers, action logs and reporting documentation.
• Prepare governance packs, meeting agendas, minutes, briefing papers and status reports.
• Monitor project milestones, dependencies and deliverables, escalating risks and issues where required.
• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Support project governance, planning, prioritisation and continuous improvement activities.
