Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking three APS6 Project Officers to support a complex ICT and digital delivery environment for a federal government agency. The role focuses on keeping projects coordinated and progressing against milestones, working closely with project leaders, technical specialists and business stakeholders.

Based in Melbourne with locations across several cities, the position requires Australian citizenship and Baseline clearance, commencing ASAP on a 12-month contract with a competitive

Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects in a complex ICT or digital environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
• Strong documentation, reporting and governance skills.
• Ability to build relationships across technical, business and delivery teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail.
• Australian Government, Agile or hybrid delivery experience; Jira/Confluence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining project plans, schedules, action registers, decision logs, and risk and issue registers.
• Tracking milestones, deliverables and dependencies, escalating emerging issues.
• Coordinating governance meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and briefing materials.
• Gathering input from technical and business stakeholders to prepare accurate status reports and project updates.
• Supporting resource planning, prioritisation and improvements to project processes and tools.
