Job summary

Kingston Human Capital is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join a team managing ICT contracts for the Queensland Government, including vendor management and procurement processes. The role includes supporting senior officers and handling routine classified contracts in a governance-driven environment.

Based in Brisbane with hybrid work options, the position offers a 6-month initial contract and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contracts Administration, Contract Management, Vendor Management or Procurement.
• Understanding of contract and vendor management, governance, financial and procurement principles.
• Experience drafting documentation including contracts and contract management plans, as well as extension of existing contracts and annual renewals.
• Experience with contract, vendor, or financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ICT contract management activities in line with the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework and QSS Vendor Management Framework.
• Provide administrative support to the Principal and Senior Contract and Vendor Management Officers
• Manage and administer "routine" classified vendor contracts and agreements
• Provide secretariat support for various strategic and contract management committees, including organising meetings, distributing papers, taking minutes, and managing actions and decisions.
