Job summary

Good News Lutheran College in Melbourne’s western corridor is seeking a collaborative Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our Tarneit Campus on a full-time ongoing basis. You will teach Mathematics to Years 7–10 within the Australian Curriculum and IB framework, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mathematics or Education.
• Experience in a similar teaching role is preferred.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and child safety.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to students in Years 7–10.
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and IB framework.
• Develop students’ mathematical understanding, reasoning and problem-solving.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the College community.
