Job summary

City of Greater Geelong is seeking an Identity and Access Management expert to lead the IAM capability as it transitions into operations. You will own identity lifecycle, PAM and IGA, and drive automation and governance to reduce identity risk while enabling secure access across the organisation.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Cyber Security or Computer Science, or substantial senior IAM experience, and will work on shaping enterprise IAM standards with product and platform teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise IAM capability, including lifecycle, governance and privileged access.
• Senior identity engineering experience in complex environments.
• Experience delivering IAM solutions that strengthen security and enable seamless access.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM capability development and vendor selection.
• Establish RBAC framework and least-privilege principles.
• Deliver secure access experiences for customer identity management.
• Design identity lifecycle processes and automate provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Govern access requests, certifications and remediation activities.
