Job summary

Hype DC is seeking a Christmas Sales Assistant for our World Square store in Sydney. You will be on the shop floor helping customers find the right sneakers, packing online orders, and keeping stock replenished during the busy season.

Ideal candidates are passionate about sneakers, enjoy fast-paced teamwork, and are eager to learn. Availability Oct 2026–mid-Jan 2027, including weekends and holiday periods, is required. Store culture is energetic and friendly.

Qualifications

• Availability through Oct 2026 to mid-Jan 2027 including weekends and holidays.
• Retail experience is advantageous but not required.
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Enjoys hustle in a fast-paced team environment.
• Open to learning, feedback and giving your best.

About the Role

Step into the season in style with Hype DC at our World Square store! As Christmas Sales Assistants, you'll bring energy, good vibes, and a can-do attitude to our busiest (and most fun) time of year.

From helping customers find their perfect kicks to unpacking stock or packing online orders, every shift brings something new. If you love sneakers, fast-paced days, and great people, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the store looking fresh and tidy

What We're Looking For

• Full availability from October 2026 to mid-January 2027, including weekends, late nights, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
• Retail experience is great, but not a must
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and delivering outstanding customer service
• Love the hustle of a fast-paced team environment
• Self-motivated and goal-driven
• Open to learning, feedback, and being your best
