Programmed is seeking 2 reliable Cleaners to join our team at a correctional facility in Gatton, Queensland. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, following safety and security protocols.

Key duties include cleaning accommodation units, offices, kitchens and common areas, and using cleaning equipment safely. Applicants should have a professional approach, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean environments.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a respectful manner.
• The ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality and comply with site procedures.
• Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Cleaning accommodation units, offices, amenities, kitchens and common areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenishing cleaning products and hygiene supplies.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Following workplace health and safety, hygiene and infection control procedures.
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or other concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Following all site procedures and security requirements.
