Job summary

Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory, part of the SunPork Group, is seeking a Hygiene Compliance Manager to lead hygiene compliance across export, domestic and value-added processing facilities. The role monitors hygiene systems, implements improvements and ensures highest sanitation standards.

You will supervise day cleaning and laundry teams, manage contract cleaning arrangements, conduct internal audits, stock control in chemical shed, and act as the main liaison with the hygiene contractor to

• Supervise the Day Cleaning and Laundry teams to ensure hygiene and compliance standards are met.

• Act as first point of contact for hygiene contractor for site-related hygiene matters.
• Conduct chemical stock takes and manage Chemical Shed space for arrivals.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hygiene and sanitation.

Join a well-known, Australian primary processor and utilise your strong hygiene background. As a hygiene Compliance Manager. Provide specialised knowledge, professional judgement and influence in monitoring existing hygiene systems and developing and implementing activities and processes to ensure the Highest Level of Hygiene & Sanitation of the Export, Domestic and value-added processing Facilities.
Ensure compliance to the hygiene operations onsite and ensure the contract cleaning company are working to their full capabilities and requirements.

Key Requirements to be considered for the role includes:

• Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards hygiene requirements including DA and BRC standards
• Responsible for performance aspects of the contract with the cleaning company, with input and assistance from manager.
• First point of contact for hygiene contractor in relation to all site related hygiene.
• Chemical stock takes / levels assessed and re-arrange where necessary, the Chemical Shed to ensure pallet spaces for arriving chemical.
• Assist and develop continuous improvement processes for the department and apply initiatives that promote and improve hygiene & sanitation within the business.
• Internal auditing and reporting with a view to a reduction of ‘findings during the Pre-Operational Sanitation’
• As Hygiene Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the supervision, performance, and day-to-day management of the Day Cleaning and Laundry teams, ensuring all hygiene and compliance standards are consistently met.
