Job summary
WSP, a leading global engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer for our Brisbane office to deliver flood resilience, hydrology and hydraulic solutions across major transport and multidisciplinary projects in Australia. You will lead project delivery, strengthen client relationships and mentor junior engineers.
You will work with our Queensland Bridges, Aviation and Roads team, applying modelling tools such as RORB, XP-RAFTS and TUFLOW, and contribute to reports, proposals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in civil or environmental engineering.
- 5–10 years of consultancy in flood assessments and infrastructure delivery.
- CPEng and RPEQ, or able to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of ARR 2019 and hydrologic/hydraulic modelling.
- Leadership, client management and mentoring capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support flood resilience, hydrology, hydraulic modelling for major transport projects.
- Contribute to technical quality and delivery within scope, budget and schedule.
- Work in multidisciplinary teams using modelling tools for climate-resilient solutions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals and work-winning activities.
- Build trusted client relationships and mentor junior engineers.
