Job summary

Heavy Automatics is seeking an experienced hydraulic technician or mechanical fitter to join our Prestons workshop team. You will work with a skilled crew on design fit ups of new vehicles in our modern, purpose-built workshops and perform some customer-site work when required.

We offer above market rates for the right experience, a lifestyle-friendly roster with most weekends off, and opportunities to learn the Allison product if interested.

Qualifications

• Experience as hydraulic technician or mechanical fitter.
• Ability to work in modern workshops and on customer sites as needed.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design fit ups of mainly new vehicles in our workshops.
• Some onsite work at customers' workshops when required.

We are looking for an experienced hydraulic technician or mechanical fitter to join our team in Prestons. Working with an experienced team on design fit ups of mainly new vehicles in our modern purpose-built workshops and some onsite work at customers workshops.

We pay above market rates for the right experience and offer a lifestyle friendly roster with most weekends off but some overtime available. This job does not require you to be crawling around dirty equipment out in the elements.

There may be some opportunity to learn the Allison product if interested.
