Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering hydraulic services projects in consulting, contracting or design environments.

• Ability to manage projects, win client relationships and lead project teams.
• Experience using hydraulic design and documentation software.
• Mentoring others and contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of hydraulic services projects from concept through to completion.
• Deliver projects across defence, government, health, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Provide technical leadership across hydraulic services systems including sanitary drainage, water supply, trade waste, roof drainage, fuel gas and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior consultants and designers whilst contributing to the development of team capability.
• Contribute to business growth, project pursuits and the ongoing advancement of ACOR's hydraulic services offering.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our Canberra team is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Services Consultant to play a key role in the delivery of projects across the defence, government, health, commercial and industrial sectors.

This position is suited to an experienced professional from either an engineering or hydraulic services trade background who enjoys leading project delivery, developing client relationships and mentoring emerging professionals. You will become an integral member of our growing Canberra team while working closely with colleagues across our national business. The role reflects the responsibilities of a senior consultant within ACOR's project delivery framework, including leadership of project delivery, client engagement and mentoring responsibilities.

The Opportunity

About You

• Significant experience delivering hydraulic services projects within a consulting, contractor or specialist hydraulic design environment.
• Qualifications in Engineering, Hydraulic Services Design or an equivalent industry-recognised pathway.
• Strong technical understanding of hydraulic services systems, Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, build client relationships and lead project teams.
• Experience using industry-standard hydraulic design and documentation software.
• Passion for mentoring others and contributing to the growth of a collaborative team environment.
