Job summary

ACOR Consultants’ Building Services team is seeking a Project Hydraulic Designer to support our national growth. You will deliver hydraulic designs and documentation in accordance with Australian Standards, NCC and Plumbing Code, and work across defence, government, health, commercial and industrial sectors.

Collaborate with engineers, BIM designers and project stakeholders; develop calculations, technical documentation and design reports; contribute to ongoing enhancement of hydraulic delivery

Qualifications

• Experience as Hydraulic Designer in a consulting engineering or building services environment.
• Strong knowledge of AS3500, NCC and Plumbing Code requirements.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and related design software.

• Deliver hydraulic designs and documentation in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, BIM designers, architects and stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Our Building Services team is seeking a Project Hydraulic Designer to support our continued national growth. While Sydney is our preferred location, we are open to candidates based in any ACOR office across Australia.

With a strong pipeline of work across the defence, government, health, commercial and industrial sectors, this role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects while collaborating with established hydraulic and building services teams nationwide.

Working closely with project teams, clients and multidisciplinary engineering professionals, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality hydraulic services solutions while helping support the continued growth of our national business.

The Opportunity

• Deliver hydraulic services designs and documentation in accordance with Australian Standards, authority requirements and project specifications.
• Work on projects across the defence, government, health, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Coordinate with engineers, BIM designers, architects and project stakeholders to achieve high-quality project outcomes.
• Develop accurate calculations, technical documentation, specifications and design reports.
• Support project planning, design coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration throughout all project stages.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of ACOR's hydraulic design standards, systems and delivery practices.

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a Hydraulic Designer within a consulting engineering or building services environment.
• Strong understanding of the AS3500 suite of standards, NCC and Plumbing Code requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and associated design software.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for delivering quality outcomes and continuously improving project delivery.
