Enzed Geelong is seeking a skilled Mobile Hose Technician to join our on-site service team. You will diagnose faults, fabricate hose assemblies, and replace hydraulic components directly on-site for clients across the Geelong region.

The ideal candidate has a background as a diesel mechanic, experience with earthmoving or heavy transport equipment, and a clean MR licence or higher is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in heavy vehicle mechanical technology or mobile plant technology.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic on earthmoving or heavy transport equipment.
• Australian manual MR licence is highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Respond to breakdown calls and minimise client downtime, including after hours.
• Diagnose, repair and install hydraulic hoses and fittings on diverse machinery.

Enzed Geelong is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our fast-paced mobile breakdown and service team. We are looking for a hands-on mechanical professional, with a strong preference for experienced diesel mechanics who have a background in earthmoving or heavy transport equipment.

About the Role

As a Mobile Hose Technician (Hose Doctor), you will be the face of Enzed on the road, diagnosing faults, fabricating hose assemblies, and replacing hydraulic components directly on-site for our diverse client base across the Geelong region.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Responding to breakdown calls to minimise client downtime, both during normal business hours and via an after-hours roster.

Diagnosing, repairing, and installing hydraulic hoses and fittings on a wide variety of machinery.

Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with local civil, transport, and agricultural businesses.

Maintaining a fully stocked, service vehicle to ensure you always have the right parts for the job.

What We Are Looking For

While hydraulic training will be provided, we want someone who already understands heavy machinery from the inside out. Our ideal candidate brings:

Trade Qualification: A Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology, or an equivalent mechanical trade is preferred, but not essentlial.

Industry Experience: Proven experience working as a diesel mechanic of fitter, particularly on earthmoving, civil construction plant, or heavy transport vehicles.

Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to work independently under pressure and think on your feet during complex field breakdowns.

Communication & Drive: A customer-first attitude with the motivation to run your mobile territory like your own business.

Licence: A clean, valid Australian manual driver’s licence (MR licence is highly regarded).
