Job summary

Pirtek Dubbo is seeking a Hydraulic Field Service Technician to provide on-site hydraulic service and repairs across Dubbo and surrounds. The role involves diagnosing faults, replacing hoses and components, and performing installations on a variety of machinery. Full on-site training and opportunities for growth are offered as part of joining Pirtek Dubbo.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose hydraulic systems and perform repairs on mobile and fixed equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble components as part of maintenance and replacement work.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment at customer sites.
• Replace hydraulic hoses and components in breakdown or routine install tasks.
• Carry out mechanical installations on various machinery.
• Maintain accurate service records and report issues to supervisors.

The Role

As a Hydraulic Field Service Technician, you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to our customers. This is a hands-on role where there is travel to sites within the Dubbo and surrounding areas, to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery.

Our Service and Supply Centre is based in Dubbo and you will be given full product and job training.

You

Generally, you will be:

• Conducting diagnosis and repairs on mobile and fixed equipment


• Disassembling and reassembling components


• Conducting general repairs and maintenance as required


• Identifying hydraulic hoses and components and remanufacturing


• Carrying out mechanical installations

Role Requirements

• Professional and proactive approach


• Related industry experience


• Relevant trade qualifications (preferred, but not essential)


• Ability to work efficiently and independently


• Current LR driver’s licence (or willing to obtain)
