Job summary

PIRTEK is seeking a Mobile Service Technician for Coffs Harbour. This hands-on role requires field service delivery, hose replacement, and on-site installation across the Coffs Coast. Training is provided, and travel to customer sites is expected.

Overtime and a 24-hour on-call roster are part of the schedule. Ideal candidates have a fitting/mechanical background or hydraulics experience, strong numeracy and communication skills, and a current manual driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, accurate field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions.
• Provide solutions and build relationships with a varied customer base.
• Travel to sites within the Coffs Coast and surrounding areas.
• Replace hoses in breakdowns or complete new installations on machinery.
• Report to Centre Manager with full product and job training provided.

The Role

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality field service and supply of fluid transfer solutions to our customers. The job will require you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers. This is a hands-on role where there is travel to sites within the Coffs Coast and surrounding areas, to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery. Our role is best suited to applicants who reside in the Mid North Coast region and must be available for overtime as well as participating in a 24‑hour on‑call roster, reporting to the Centre Manager. You will be given full product and job training and a fully maintained service vehicle.

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

• Trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics
